The House of the Ninja
The performance seeks a “disorientation of consciousness,” a bodily state that chases a dreamlike, twilight imaginary in a noir film atmosphere. The dancers' bodies embody the new superheroes of our time — creatures in a spasmodic search for “something else,” for a “perfect world,” for a place inhabited by seemingly happy and immortal beings, engaged in the futile attempt to escape the depth of human feeling and its eternal and inevitable connection to the laws of the universe.
